Zeekr’s vice president, Lin Jinwen, posted the teaser pictures on Weibo. They display the SUV in orange-patterned camouflage, which suggests a possible design. The SUV, which is now under the codename CX1e, will be officially unveiled later this year.

The vehicle could be called ZX or XZ, based on the livery design, which features the letters Z and X. Potential style cues like flush-fitting door handles and low-set headlights are visible in the photos. A LiDAR sensor is hinted at by a lip above the front window, suggesting sophisticated self-driving capability.

The SUV, which is anticipated to be built on Geely’s SEA 1 platform, will share architecture with the mid-sized 007 sedan and offer strong performance thanks to a double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension.

Zeekr was established in 2021 and is a sister brand of Polestar and Volvo, all of which are owned by Geely.
